Why is it that so many people are so against their fellow Americans when the political agenda comes into play?
It seems the mud-slinging, dirt-digging and bad-mouthing run rampant anytime there's an issue, discussion, debate or even a simple conversation between the Republican and Democratic sides. Many times it leads away from the issue at hand, and spins off into racism or some other unrelated subject matter. Can anyone please tell me why there's so much animosity, hatred and discontent whenever the sides are drawn between liberals and conservatives?
Whatever happened to America, "By the People, for the People," and "We the People" and the principles our Founding Fathers created this (once) great country on? I understand that everyone will never agree on anything and anyone will never agree on everything, but what about knowing right from wrong and being pro-American?
Come on people, can we not all agree it's wrong for the government to be spending us into a death spiral? The $14 trillion in debt, but they are still "writing checks." When was the last time you could write a check on your overdrawn account?
Never miss a local story.
