I continue to read letters in the Herald attacking Sarah Palin. Gee, if you folks don’t like her, why don’t you just let go and say so!
Perhaps we need to make it a crime not to like somebody. Or, since we already have hate crimes, why not lust crimes also? Well, aren’t some crimes committed because of lust? Folks, we’re headed down the wrong road and we need to change drivers quickly before we reach the end of the road.
I give the Democrats credit for something. They taught me how to purchase numerous Christmas gifts above what I usually buy, cut the total amount I spend annually by many dollars and even prevent the quality of all those gifts to suffer. That’s amazing! And I learned all that by watching their drafting of the health care bill!
Some people, like Don Sebelien (your letter best) think the minority party should lie down and play dead. Bills of lesser importance can be compromised to reach consensus, but highly important, polarizing bills should never be compromised. Those unconstitutional bills/views that were considered anti-American in earlier years are now embraced by the Democrats and are what’s causing the polarization.
