I am writing in response to the city and county officials who are blatantly ignoring the will of the voters when it comes to allowing marijuana sales, production and processing.
As a person who has both worked at Green2go in Finley as well as run for state office, I find their behavior is not in compliance with the law. Further, since medical marijuana was folded into recreational sales, I think officials shouldn't get paid if they ban any part of marijuana revenues. As a medical patient, I have had to scrounge the streets of Richland with nowhere else to go for pot, and it’s time the local officials met state Legislature problems for limiting medical patients’ rights.
I hope the councilors and commissioners wake up and realize that when it comes to cannabis, we’ll de-seat you if we must.
