Congressman Dan Newhouse received my vote to be re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, and he has proven the right to deserve yours as well.
Two subjects of informal conversations I have had with Dan that left me with a very high regard for his integrity involve his dedication to do what is morally and ethically correct, and his unwavering commitment to do everything he possibly can to help veterans.
His latest mailing describes how Dan is a Champion for Life. He is committed to protecting the unborn and is endorsed by such organizations as Human Life, National Right to Life, and Pro-Life Alliance. He cosponsored the Life at Conception Act, stating that life begins at conception.
As a retired lieutenant colonel, I am very proud to have Dan working on behalf of my fellow men and women who have served our country. Dan actually introduced legislation, which the U.S. House of Representatives passed unanimously, requiring VA facilities to provide emergency treatment to veterans who present themselves in need. Why was this not already a requirement? He saw a problem and did something about it!
Please vote to return Dan Newhouse to the U.S. House of Representatives.
