On behalf of Chest of Hope Tri-Cities, I would like to thank Cheri Manley for a great job organizing this year’s Tri-Cities Women’s Expo held last week.
As a non-profit providing support and services to women going through breast cancer surgery and treatment, this Expo gives us an opportunity to spread the word about who we are and the services we provide. Cheri has been a longtime supporter of Chest of Hope and we appreciate her efforts in including us every year at her event.
Current projections indicate that approximately 325 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the greater Tri-Cities area in 2016. We encourage all women to get a yearly mammogram, as the five-year survival rate for Stage 1 breast cancer is now close to 100 percent and Stage 2 is 97 percent.
Early detection saves lives, so make that appointment today!
Never miss a local story.
