In addition to a broad range of life experiences, I think it’s important that a judge have a strong, genuine sense of caring and compassion.
I have known Joe Burrowes since we were both young security officers with the Hanford Patrol in 1984. In the 30-plus years since, he has distinguished himself many times in academic, judicial, business, and community service endeavors. Joe has always been modest about his achievements, but those of us who know him realize what a special person he really is.
We need people like Joe on the bench, where decisions are made that can have a major impact on all of our lives.
