Ballots are arriving in Mid-Columbia mailboxes, and not coincidentally, the Herald's editorial board has made all but two of its recommendations.
We'll weigh in on the U.S. Senate race between Dino Rossi and Patty Murray on Monday, and our recommendation on the 4th Congressional District is planned for Tuesday.
Voters will have a chance Monday night to hear from 4th District candidates directly when Doc Hastings and Jay Clough appear at a candidate forum in Pasco.
The event is at 7 p.m. in the Gjerde Center on the Columbia Basin College campus. It may be your only chance to see the two candidates together before the Nov. 2 election deadline.
A recap of our take on this year's races appears below. Read the full editorials online at www.tricityherald.com/recommendations.
