The solution is simple. Outlaw marijuana. No marijuana, no children eating pot. I have a very dim view of the recent laws in Colorado, Washington and maybe others. When I was growing up in Southern California, some of my friends smoked pot. I declined when offered because I was afraid that it was an addictive drug.
Probably not addictive but many times it leads to harder drugs. Two of my friends graduated to heroin. One died of an overdose and I’m not sure about the other. I can’t understand why our society needs another intoxicant, especially one which may damage our young ones. I think that banning pot shops from our community as directed by our city councils was the right thing to do. I hope that in time our state legislators will see the damage pot can cause and repeal this odious law. Medical marijuana properly regulated and protected is OK, but not recreational.
