— Stateline.org has broken down gubernatorial races nationwide and lists Washington’s as one of three in the “vulnerable” category. You can find their story here.
— Speaking of the governor’s race, I got a dozen e-mails/press releases from the Chris Gregoire and Dino Rossi campaigns in a four hour period that began before and finished after their Saturday night debate. Nine from the Democrats/Gregoire camp and three came from the Republicans/Rossi camp.
The Democrats win the award for the best slug line: “CORRECTED: Rossi’s Health Care Lies.”
As of this writing not a single one of them has been opened. And they all contain attachments, taking up a lot of space, so...
— The Campaign Disclosure Project, an effort of the UCLA School of Law, the Center for Governmental Studies, and the California Voter Foundation, has once again ranked Washington first in campaign disclosure laws and access to campaign financial data.
