I don’t recall if I wrote about the original complaint but the News Tribune’s Political Buzz blog has the scoop on the Executive Ethics Board dismissing a Republican Party complaint that Gov. Chris Gregoire used state funds for campaign purposes.
Long story short? She didn’t.
“All of the activities cited are the normal and regular conduct of the Governor’s Office,” the board report read.
In its dismissal the board found “The complaint is obviously unfounded or frivolous.”
Of course, no complaint has to be founded to be filed and then written about in a party press release.
