— In case you missed it, no big deal. Sarah Palin was going to be in Bellevue for a fundraiser next week. Then she canceled. So never mind.
— Gov. Chris Gregoire’s campaign is holding a fundraising Monday featuring Democratic political strategist and motor mouth James Carville. Now I reckon Carville doesn’t know a cotton pickin’ thing about Gregoire or Republican Dino Rossi. But for $50, Democratic donors are likely to get more for their bang for their entertainment buck compared to other funders.
— David Postman signs off this morning at Postman on Politics and introduces the Times’ new political blog, Politics Northwest.
