Given the announcement of two notable departures from the Seattle Times’ Olympia bureau, Randy Stapilus over at Ridenbaugh Press says it’s time to start making a list of all the Washington journalists who are leaving the profession.
With a career in public relations suddenly looking more attractive than ever, Stapilus asks this question.
“As newspapers seemingly circle the drain, where else will all those journalists go? More to the point, where will we get actual journalism from?”
Great question.
