Gov. Chris Gregoire’s campaign has a new radio ad running in the Tri-Cities that counters charges levied in ads that began running last week and were paid for by the Benton County Republican Party.
I’ve posted Gregoire’s new ad at right.
It doesn’t directly address the Areva situation that local Republicans are hammering her on. But it does feature Benton County Prosecutor Andy Miller, a Democrat, talking up Gregoire’s contributions to the community, including support of Hanford cleanup, the Washington State University Tri-Cities expansion and the state’s new Columbia River Management Program.
“You’ve probably heard the attacks but you deserve to know the truth about all Gov. Chris Gregoire has done for our area,” Miller says.
The ad began running Friday on six stations and its run concludes today.
