Retaining knowledge of Hanford's Fast Flux Test Facility will be discussed at a Jan. 21 meeting of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society.
David Wootan, a nuclear engineer with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, will speak. He supported the startup and mission of the Hanford research reactor and continues to work to preserve FFTF-related fast reactor technology and data.
There is no charge to attend his talk at 7 p.m. at the Shilo Inn in Richland. But those who attend the dinner meeting an hour earlier will be charged $22 and need to make dinner reservations by calling 366-9632 by 4 p.m. Friday.
