Azusa Pacific University student, Nathan Mather of Richland received a prestigious Fulbright Award for the 2015-16 school year.
Mather, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from APU on May 2, will work at a public school in Mexico as an English teaching assistant. Upon his return to the U.S., Mather plans to pursue a doctorate in counseling psychology.
“Living in cities with large Mexican-American populations has inspired me to learn more about the Mexican culture,” he said. “I hope this unique opportunity will make me a more culturally aware and experienced psychologist.”
The following students were named to Biola University’s fall 2014 dean’s list for academic excellence:
Eastern Oregon University, La Grande, Ore., has named the following students to the dean’s list for winter term 2015. Qualifying students achieve and maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded coursework.
The following students were listed on the winter 2015 honor roll list at Spokane Community College. To receive honor roll status, students must earn a 3.0 grade-point average or higher.
