He has spent the past 35 years serving as a volunteer firefighter for Franklin Fire District 3 and coached youth sports for many years.
Suarez, also a Pasco native, graduated in 1992, earning the Hispanic Academic Achievers Program scholarship. Today, Suarez is a Lockheed Martin IT manager. Suarez has given back to HAAP as a longtime board member who has served as the organization’s fundraiser chairman, and is in his second term as president. Throughout the years, Suarez has coached soccer for YMCA, the Tri-Cities youth Soccer Association and Three Rivers Soccer Club.
