A fifth-grader at Richland’s White Bluffs Elementary School will be inducted into the Washington School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame.
Katherine Banta is one of ten inductees this year, a release said.
The hall of fame is part of AAA’s school safety patrol program. Nominations require input from the patroler and their adviser and responses to essay questions. A panel reviews all who are nominated for their commitment to traffic safety, citizenship, leadership and contributions to school safety programs.
Katherine will be recognized for her induction during the Seattle Mariners game at Safeco Field on April 24.
