An Irrigon man was injured in a four-car collision Thursday morning outside Kennewick on Highway 395.
The four vehicles were northbound on the highway at 8:12 a.m. when a Yukon SUV struck a Dodge Charger just north of Yelm Street, according to the Washington State Patrol. The Charger then collided with a Dodge pickup, which then struck a Toyota pickup.
The Yukon’s driver, Adam J. Caulfield, 34, was cited for following too close.
A passenger in the Toyota pickup, Adalberto G. Flores, 20, was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital for treatment.
Each driver and passenger had a seat belt on. No one else was injured.
