A Kennewick woman and a juvenile male were arrested in Pasco early on Thursday after police saw them in a car reported stolen out of Kennewick.
Officers spotted Charlene S. Childs, 19, driving a gold-colored Ford Focus missing its rear bumper just after the bars were closing, a release said. Kennewick police had been searching for the vehicle since Wednesday after it was reported stolen.
Pasco police along with Franklin County deputies pulled the car over and Childs was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle. The 15-year-old male passenger was booked into juvenile detention also on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle. Kennewick police are now investigating him as a suspect in the original theft.
