A 29-year-old driver collided Wednesday with a disabled vehicle partially blocking the westbound lanes of Highway 240 in Richland, the Washington State Patrol said.
Nikkita L. Ganz, 18, of Kennewick, was the driver of a tan 2005 Buick Rendezvous that became disabled and was partially blocking the left lane on the highway about 3:40 p.m., the state patrol said.
Ganz was injured and taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. She was not wearing a seat belt and her car was totaled. She was cited for blocking the roadway.
Stephen M. Donley, 29, of Burien, driving a 2014 Black Nissan Versa, failed to see Ganz’s car and collided with it, the state patrol said. He was cited for inattention.
