A three-car collision Thursday in Kennewick injured a 36-year-old man.
Jonathan R. Schmidt, 20, of Kennewick, was driving a Ford pickup truck north at Highway 395 and Yelm Street when the vehicle rear-ended a Chevy pickup, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Chevy then crashed into a Jaguar, driven by Darren D. Sharkey, 55, of Kennewick, troopers said. All three vehicles were damaged but not totaled.
The driver of the Chevy, Matthew J. Phemaster, 36, of Kennewick, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland following the crash about 11:40 a.m., troopers said. The other drivers were not injured.
Troopers say Schmidt was cited for following too close.
