Community members plan a candlelight vigil Wednesday evening to mark the four-month anniversary of the death of Antonio Zambrano-Montes, who was shot by Pasco police while throwing rocks.
Members of Tri-Cities Community Solutions, a group that has formed since the shooting, plan to gather at the spot near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Lewis Street where the controversial Feb. 10 shooting happened.
The shooting was investigated by the Tri-City Special Investigations Unit. Franklin County Prosecutor Shawn Sant is reviewing the investigation to decide whether to criminally charge the three Pasco officers.
The community group plans to rally and march from Richland to Pasco on Saturday in honor of Zambrano-Montes.
