Results of an autopsy performed Sunday on a body found Saturday not far from Sacajawea State Park are pending.
The Franklin County Coroner’s Office continues to work to identify the body, said Candice Hermanson, the chief deputy coroner.
The body was not identifiable when it was discovered in the water just downriver from the cable bridge. Blood is being sent for DNA testing and the coroner’s office will work with a specialist to see if the body can be identified by dental records.
Anyone with information on a missing male should contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
