Four people were taken to the hospital Saturday morning after a car drove over several campsites during a music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre.
Tanner A. Drayton-Williams, 19, allegedly drove a vehicle over tents at the campground and hit pedestrians, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities suspect he was under the influence.
Drayton-Williams, of California, and three others were taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center, said Kyle Foreman, sheriff’s office spokesman. Three people, including Drayton-Williams, have been released.
The fourth person was transferred to Confluence Health-Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee to be treated for several broken bones and internal injuries.
Drayton-Williams was arrested and booked into the Grant County jail where he is being held on suspicion of four counts of second-degree assault.
Sasquatch, a four-day music festival, is currently being held at the Gorge.
