A Benton City woman was injured after the pickup truck she was in hit another pickup truck on Highway 224 in Benton City Saturday.
David A. McAdams, 65, of Benton City, had stopped his blue 2013 Ford pickup truck because of traffic on eastbound on Highway 224 near Highway 225 about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
His pickup was then hit by a dark blue Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Gary L. Muth, 69, of Irrigon, Ore., according to Washington State Patrol.
But Diana E. Crocoll, 54, of Benton City, who was Muth’s passenger, was injured. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to Washington State Patrol. Crocoll was transported to Richland’s Kadlec Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

Both drivers were uninjured and the pickups were damaged but could be driven from the scene.
Muth was cited in connection with driving too fast for conditions, according to Washington State Patrol.
