A driver who police say was racing down a Kennewick street crashed into a set of fences and a shed, but managed to walk away unscathed.
The crash happened Sunday after a Benton County deputy sheriff spotted the car racing on Ely Street, police said. The driver lost control and crashed into a backyard on the 2900 block of West 19th Street.
No injuries were reported.
The car destroyed the shed and took out two nearby fences before coming to a rest, police said. The driver was cited for reckless driving and having no insurance.
The power company also had to come out to fix a damaged electrical box.
