Two people were injured in a Tuesday evening crash in Kennewick, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Howard Chung, 66, of Kennewick, slowed a 2013 Ford Edge he was driving while approaching traffic driving south on Highway 395 at Yelm Street, the state patrol said. He was then struck from behind by a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria driven by William A. Morton, 20, of Burbank.
Neither driver was hurt, but Sarah Rooks, 27, of Kennewick, and Anthony McFall, 30, of Kennewick, both passengers in Chung’s vehicle, were taken to Trios Southridge Hospital, where they were treated and later released.
Morton faces a citation for following too close, the state patrol said.
