Authorities have arrested a pair of burglary suspects allegedly tied to a rash of Kennewick break-ins.
Police say Carlos A. Guizar-Lopez, 20, and Michael P. Wood, 20, are involved in the break-ins, which have happened since the start of the year throughout the city.
The break-ins have led to a sharp spike in residential burglaries in Kennewick.
Guizar-Lopez was arrested Monday after Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers offered a cash reward for his arrest. Authorities are holding the Pasco man at the Benton County jail on suspicion of escape.
Police arrested Wood, who was also featured by Crime Stoppers, on Tuesday. The Kennewick man is being held at the jail on suspicion of rape of a child.
The burglary investigation is ongoing and police expect additional charges to be filed.
