More than a pound of methamphetamine was allegedly found when a Richland man was pulled over Wednesday in central Oregon, according to media reports.
Oscar Chavez-Garcia was arrested in Redmond Ore. and booked into the Deschutes County jail on suspicion of drug charges, KTVZ reported. His bail was set at $40,000.
Chavez-Garcia was pulled over for an illegal lane change on Highway 97 and authorities found the meth, which has an estimated street value of $45,000, the report said. Chavez-Garcia was identified through fingerprints at the jail.
