A three-car wreck tied up traffic Tuesday night on Highway 240 in Kennewick.
Michael A. Elizondo, 22, of Pasco, failed to slow for heavy traffic and rear-ended another car at 6:30 p.m. near the Edison Street exit in Kennewick, the Washington State Patrol said.
Elizondo was driving a 2013 Ford Fiesta, which was totaled. He drove into a 2001 Toyota Camry driven by Carmen P. Woods, 57, of Pasco.
Woods’ car rotated when hit and then it struck a 1997 Toyota Camry driven by Khmees M. Kulbour, 42, of Kennewick.

The state patrol said the three drivers were not injured.
Elizondo will be cited for speeding too fast for conditions, the state patrol said.
