A woman was injured Monday morning in a one-vehicle crash a mile west of Waitsburg, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Kari K. Newman, 43, of Waitsburg, lost control of the 1995 Toyota 4Runner she was driving wast on Highway 124 at 7:08 a.m., the state patrol said. She then struck an embankment, the state patrol said.
Newman, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, the state patrol said.
She was cited for driving too fast for conditions, the state patrol said.
