Driving under the influence was involved in an early Sunday crash that left a Pasco woman injured, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Ashley P. Solier, 23, of Renton, went across the center line while driving north on Highway 17 six miles north of Mesa at 12:53 a.m., State Patrol said. Her 1996 Honda Accord then collided with a 2007 BMW 335 driven by Amancio L. Martinez, 23, of Warden, who was driving south. Both cars came to rest totaled in the northbound shoulder, State Patrol said.
Solier was charged with DUI, State Patrol said.
Virginia C. Garza, 26, of Pasco, a passenger in Solier’s car, was injured and taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. She was treated in the emergency room and released.
