West Richland Police responded to 10 vehicle prowls around the city Thursday night into Friday, according to a news release.
Cars in several neighborhoods were victimized, police said. Victims reported they had unlocked vehicles, which gave prowlers easier access to items left inside.
Electronics, a purse and cash were among the items taken from vehicles, police said. The department does not have suspects. Anyone with information on the prowls is asked to call 509-967-3425.
West Richland Police encourage residents to lock their cars and report any suspicious activity.
