Police have identified the suspect in a Pasco shooting last Friday as Leopoldo Navarro Ramires.
He is being held at the Franklin County jail on suspicion of felony assault. The 46-year-old Pasco man was arrested shortly after the shooting on the 200 block of Clark Street.
Chirt Garwech Nyebul, of Pasco, was shot during the incident and treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police say he was shot at least one time in the chest.
Both men got into a fight prior to the shooting around 3:25 p.m., police said. They may have known each other before the incident.
Witnesses at the scene told the Herald that Ramires fired between four and five shots before fleeing the area.
Ramires was eventually arrested around two hours later near the crime scene.
