A Pasco man pleaded innocent to allegations he sexually assaulted a young girl during a 31/2-year period.
Alexander Rene Salazar, 27, faces trial Oct. 27 for two counts of first-degree rape of a child.
The girl only recently told her mom about the alleged sexual abuse that occurred between March 2007 and October 2010, according to court documents.
She provided authorities with graphic details about what Salazar would do to her or make her do, documents said.
Salazar, when contacted by police, would not provide his physical address and reportedly didn't show up for a scheduled interview.
Salazar previously posted bond, and is allowed to travel throughout Washington while the case is pending.
Judge Cameron Mitchell told Salazar that he can have contact with his own children, but not with any other minors including the victim.
