A 70-year-old man was arrested early Saturday afternoon for allegedly pulling a gun and threatening to shoot someone over a parking space at a Little League baseball game.
John DeCarlo was in his vehicle waiting for another car to pull out of a parking spot at the Kennewick American Youth Baseball fields on Olympia Street just after 2 p.m., according to Kennewick police.
After the car pulled out and before DeCarlo could move into the space, another vehicle going the opposite direction in the lot took it.
DeCarlo got out of his car and challenged the husband and wife in the other vehicle to move while making minor threats.

DeCarlo then pulled out a small caliber gun, pointed it at the driver and said he was going to shoot them, police said. The driver moved the car and DeCarlo took the parking space. Games were being played on the ballfields during the incident with spectators watching.
Police were called and several witnesses confirmed what the victims reported. The gun was found in DeCarlo’s car and taken by police.
DeCarlo was booked into the Benton County jail under suspicion of felony harassment. He also has been banned from the baseball fields.
