Two Hermiston men were sentenced to prison this week in connection with property crimes in Umatilla County.
Jeremiah Isaiah Ayers, 24, was sentenced to a little more than 9 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony charges Friday, according to the Umatilla district attorney’s office.
Ayers pleaded guilty to theft, criminal mischief and drug charges. He was arrested in December in a stolen Shelco electric truck with stolen items from a house and methamphetamine. Ayers was also connected to a rash of car prowls in Hermiston between August and September.
Zachary Lawrence Bartz, 21, was sentenced Thursday to 72 months in prison for robbing multiple Hermiston businesses and a house, the district attorney said. He pleaded guilty to theft and burglary charges in March.
Both men will be on post-prison supervision once they are released.
