A 26-year-old man was arrested early Monday in the backyard of a Richland house after police say he pulled a gun and threatened to shoot several people.
Robert L. Ozuna, of Outlook, was arrested around 7:30 a.m. and a loaded .38-caliber revolver was found near him, police said. He is a convicted felon and a known gang member.
Ozuna was visiting friends at a house near the 1300 block of Williams Boulevard when he got into an argument around 5:50 a.m. and pulled a gun, police said. He pointed the gun at several people inside the house and threatened to shoot them.
Residents were able to get Ozuna to leave the house and called 911, police said. Officers used police dogs to track Ozuna but couldn’t find him.

More than an hour later, a neighbor reported a man fitting Ozuna’s description was hiding in the backyard, police said. Ozuna was arrested without a fight.
Police discovered the revolver was stolen out of Soap Lake.
Ozuna was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of second-degree assault, possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.
