A former Othello attorney was arrested after police stopped him in a stolen pickup, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Michael Curtis Colley, 28, around 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve following a traffic stop in West Pasco.
The pickup Colley was driving was stolen out of Othello and had stolen license plates out of Moses Lake, the sheriff’s office said. The vehicle had not been reported stolen at the time of the traffic stop.
Colley was arrested and booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of multiple charges, including possessing a stolen vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm and identity theft.
