Pasco police are searching for a vehicle that struck and killed a woman Saturday night.
The hit-and-run happened near the intersection of 20th Avenue and Lewis Street at about 8:45 p.m. when the victim was struck in the crosswalk, a release said. She was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center but was pronounced dead. Her identity hasn't been released.
Authorities said the car left the scene and drove over the blue bridge into Kennewick.
The vehicle nor its driver have been found, but the vehicle was described as a Ford SUV, possibly an Explorer model, that is a dark color or maroon. It also possibly has a chrome bumper and may have damage to its headlights or windshield.
