Police say a 41-year-old man who allegedly stabbed another man during an argument at the Union Gospel Mission on Saturday is most likely still in the Tri-Cities.
Paul Anthony McVay is suspected of stabbing Keyton Sykes with a knife in the torso and arm, said Capt. Jim Raymond, Pasco police spokesman. Police have been searching for McVay since the incident took place.
The men got into an argument around 6:30 p.m. at the shelter on Second Avenue in Pasco.
Sykes was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland where he was scheduled to undergo surgery. Police did not believe his wounds were life threatening. His condition was not immediately available.
McVay was last seen running from the scene near Second Avenue and Clark Street, Raymond said. He is homeless and police believe he is still in the Tri-Cities.
McVay is 5-foot-9, 205 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
