A Kennewick man was booked into jail on suspicion of felony fraud after reporting a theft to the Kennewick police last week, according to police reports.
Franklin Ivory, 59, reported to police that someone had used his Gesa credit union deposit account to charge about $1,800 for hotel rooms and other items, according to police reports.
He showed police a copy of an affidavit filled out at Gesa swearing he did not make the transactions, which his account balance did not cover, according to police reports.
During the interview police discovered he had an outstanding arrest warrant and booked him into the Benton County jail.

Police continued the investigation, finding his claims were false and that he was the one using the debit card for overdraft purchases, according to Kennewick Police.
Ivory was out of jail by then and was booked back into the jail on suspicion of felony fraud, according to police reports.
