A Kennewick man was taken to Harborview Medical Center after police believe he was assaulted in his apartment.
Kimmeth Jack Irwin Jr., 42, came into the emergency room at Kennewick General Hospital Wednesday afternoon with an eye injury, said Kennewick police Sgt. Ken Lattin. Irwin Jr. claimed he woke up with the injury and told police he didn’t know how it happened.
The injury was severe enough that Irwin Jr. was taken to the Seattle hospital. His injuries are non-life threatening.
“It defiantly wasn’t a fist that hit him,” Lattin said.
Police have questioned several people that come and go from Irwin Jr.’s apartment, Lattin said. Mostly everyone, including Irwin Jr., has been uncooperative.
