An 85-year-old Richland woman got trapped in her upside down car after hitting a parked car and flipping, according to Richland police.
The collision happened on Davison Avenue and McMurray Street in Richland Saturday. The intersection had to be shut down for an hour and a half while police investigated.
The woman was trapped in her car for nearly 15 minutes as fire and police officials worked to get her out, according to police. She was transported to Kadlec Medical Center with shoulder and neck pain after she was removed.
Her condition was not immediately available.
The parked car belonged to a Bothell man visiting his daughter in Richland, according to police.
