Four juveniles were detained by Kennewick police Saturday morning after the signal from a stolen electronic device was tracked to their hotel room.
Police were called to a hotel near the intersection of Highway 395 and 27th Avenue after a victim of a burglary told officers that the signal from the device was coming from that location.
Three juvenile males and a juvenile female attempted to flee the hotel window but were stopped, police said. Property from multiple residential burglaries was found in their room and in the stolen vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, officers learned of another vehicle reported stolen in Ephrata, police said. It was found in Kennewick and impounded.

The identities of the four juveniles and the charges against them were not released.
Police release suspect sketches in kidnapping
HERMISTON -- Oregon State Police have released sketches and descriptions of two suspects after they allegedly kidnapped a 21-year-old woman on Highway 730 last week.
The victim told police she was outside her disabled vehicle on the highway six miles east of the intersection with Highway 395 the evening of Feb. 17 when the suspects stopped and offered assistance.
The suspects then forcibly kidnapped her and drove an unknown distance before she was able to escape and hide in the brush next to the highway, police said. The victim had minor injuries from the incident.
Both men were Hispanic, spoke English and Spanish, and were driving a dark-colored SUV, police said. White letters about 3 to 4 inches tall and a foot in length spelling an unknown Hispanic name or word were on the back window.
One suspect is described as 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds while the other is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weight unknown.
Anyone with information about the suspects or the incident is encouraged to call OSP Detective Jeremy Gunter at 541-278-4090 ext. 4951. Tips may be provided anonymously, but tipsters are encouraged to provide contact information if investigators need to speak with them further.
