A Pasco man was shot while driving near downtown Yakima shortly after midnight on Tuesday, police said.
Yakima police said the 40-year-old man told police that he had been driving by the intersection of North First and East F streets when he heard a gunshot and felt pain in his left arm just below his shoulder, the Yakima Herald-Republic reported.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene and took him to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No update on his condition was immediately available.
