A 31-year-old Kennewick man is suspected of charging more than $900 within three hours on a debit card accidentally left behind in an ATM, police said.
Alfredo Ozuna Ahumada made it easy for police to identify him because after taking the debit card from the HAPO Credit Union machine, he used his own debit card in the machine, said Mike Blatman, Kennewick police spokesman.
Ahumada allegedly took the debit card June 15 and used it to buy a large amount of lumber from a hardware store and gasoline, Blatman said.
After getting a warrant to search his home and cars at 1925 W. Fifth Ave., officers found suspected methamphetamine, Blatman said.

Ahumada was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of possession of meth with intent to deliver and second-degree theft.
