One of four suspected burglars was reportedly wearing headphones stolen during a break-in at a Kennewick business when caught early Tuesday.
Police were called at 4 a.m. to Radio Shack, 135 N. Ely St., after an employee at a nearby business said he watched several males running away from the store carrying boxes, said Mike Blatman, Kennewick police spokesman.
One of the suspects dropped an item, which was a price/security tag from property taken from the store, he said.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the front door to Radio Shack had been shattered.
Police surrounded the area and called out a K-9 unit to try to track the suspects.
The police dog was headed toward 3400 W. First Place when officers got a call about four males hiding in the stairwell at that address, Blatman said.
Three teens and a 19-year-old man were found in the area.
One suspect was wearing a set of Dr. Dre headphones with the security cord still attached, Blatman said.
Estaban A. Vega, 19, was arrested and booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.
The three 16-year-old boys were taken to juvenile detention on suspicion of burglary.
