A 14-year-old Pasco boy was flown to Spokane with serious head injuries after being hit by a car Monday night.
Police responded to the hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Bonneville Street shortly before 7 p.m. Witnesses said the boy was using the crosswalk and was hit by an older red car. Some nearby family members were watching and told police the driver didn’t stop.
He was taken to a Tri-City hospital and then relatives later told Pasco police the teen was flown to Spokane.
Police have not released the boy’s name or any more information.
