Two suspects were arrested for allegedly stealing two wallets from nurses in Pasco and using their credit cards, police said.
Hillary Susan Battisti, 24, of Richland, and Jimmy Raye Richards, 60, transient, took two wallets from a nurses break room at Lourdes Medical Center.
Soon after, someone started using their credit cards at several Tri-City stores, police said.
The victims have since shut down their accounts and replaced their ID cards, police said.
Battisti and Richards were booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of first-degree theft with intent to resell and second-degree theft. Richards was also booked on suspicion of second-degree possession of stolen property.
Police encourage residents to lock up their wallets in safe, secure storage spaces to prevent similar thefts.
